HUGS not D.R.U.G.S.

One of the front runners this season, D.R.U.G.S. has proven to overcome what “seemed like an impossible feat” by beating THUNDER on their most prominent map.
The Full Prescription (Team Roster)
biggiE-, Cnile, greetz-, hXc, jigsaw, linus, milo, mistadobalina, and xternaL.
So let’s get a background check on you dorks. What do you all do when you aren’t cheating in scrims?
hXc: I am currently in school attaining my Associate’s in Information Systems. Biggie likes to pretend that he makes a lot of “paper” being a chef at a local food chain restaurant. Greetz is in his junior year of high school, and Cnile is his brother. Jigsaw likes to hang out at parties and listen to his iPod. Linus lives in country side Sweden, but he never sleeps. Milo is in his 2nd year of College I believe. Mista works a morning shift job. Xternal is currently going to bed at 10 every night for high school.
What brought your team together, and explain the circumstances for forming a new team with some newer players instead of playing as FLAWLESS.
hXc: Well after watching the TPG finals last season, I was pretty disappointed with the competition that THUNDER had. Prior to last season, I was on iwa with sevEN, Austin, and Bewton. We went undefeated through the playoffs and defeated THUNDER twice. Obviously my first thought when I decided I wanted to play this season would be to play with two of my favorite players again, but they had already found new teams. This led me to play with these 12 year olds again. I brought our team D.R.U.G.S. together, and I made adjustments to who I let play with us. Basically, I wanted to prove that we can win matches.. even if everyone thinks we cheat in scrims.
What’s with the team name D.R.U.G.S. anyways?
hXc: D.R.U.G.S. stands for Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows. It’s catchy and kinda controversial.. but mainly it’s my favorite band at the moment with the ex lead singer of Chiodos, Craig Owens.
How does chemistry play a role with the team?
hXc: To be honest, I think our chemistry is lacking a lot. Only about 2/6ths of our roster has been on a team that’s really proven themselves. The team lacks a lot of experience that comes with being on good teams and playing with good players. Luckily we have a lot of individual talent that makes up for it most of the time. Don’t get me wrong though.. Most of us get along really well (apart from biggie).
Introduce us to your teammates and their In-Game roles.
BiggiE- (Rifle): biggiE- probably lacks the most teamwork out of any player on the team. He’s not the most consistent player either, but when he is on his game he can be a threat to any rifle in upper.
XternaL (Rifle): xternaL is probably the shadiest player left on our team. If you’re going to dispute any player on our team you should probably pick xternaL. When he isn’t making excuses about lagging and shit he’s actually a heavy fragger of ours. He’s asian and will be doing my calculus homework this semester.
Greetz (3rd): Greetz is the wildcard of our team. He reminds me of myself as a counter-strike player. I wasn’t the best on my CS team, but when I showed up to play, I killed everything in sight. When Frank’s aim is on, you need to watch out.
hXc (heavy): There isn’t a whole lot of heavy talent left in DoD, so I spend most of my time staring at my mini-map. I make sure everyone is going their routes and doing what they should be. Other than that, I just spend a lot of time making dreams come true. (#1 team in invite)
Milo (heavy): Milo has more team and league experience than most of the FLAWLESS guys, so I rely on him to help me out with team work and stuff. When I’m on respawn, milo’s most likely doing what I would be doing, probably because I sit in spec and tell him what I’d do if I were in his pov. Milo is also a heavy fragger on custom maps (solitude, etc).
Jigsaw (sniper): There’s not a whole lot to say about jigsaw. He really shouldn’t be sniping, but it’s our only option.
Mistadobalina (3rd/backup): Probably the most important pick up we’ve made. Xternal goes to bed for school at 10 every night, so having mista fill in helps us a lot. He also has a lot more team and league experience than the original FLAWLESS players, so that helps us in matches.
What are D.R.U.G.S. 5 main strengths?
hXc: Individual skill level, confidence, in-game smarts, aggressiveness, and poppin’ pills.
What are some stereotypes on your teammates?
BiggiE-: Broke nerd
Greetz: Farm boy
hXc: Virgin
Jigsaw: The Dentist
Milo: Brown
XternaL: Gook face
Who are some of the players to watch in invite this season, other than your own team mates?
hXc: toxinatoR, Jarrod, ryanemo, and sevEN. I would say Austin, but I haven’t heard much of him as of late.
What are some of your most memorable DoD moments?
BiggiE-: Stacking paper.
hXc: Almost puking on Mitch (The one that isn’t a trolling nerd, oh and by almost I mean that he barely avoided my projectile vomit), and then running to TOG ten minutes later to take a dump all over Super’s SoCal lan team while feeling absolutely nauseas. I think anyone that saw me that day can recall that I looked really sick.
Milo: Winning CAL-open and LAN yelling in vent.
Greetz: Getting CAL-banned for cheating (When he wasn’t even cheating).
Jigsaw: Beating cypher in a sniper battle on Railroad2 and/or watching Polak & sevEN box it out at TOG.
What other games do you all like to play when you aren’t fragging DoD?
hXc: We tend to play a lot of online Monopoly together. We scrim CS occasionally. Biggie likes to play a lot of Quake live and Dead Island. He played Left 4 Dead in CEVO as well. We play some swedish hand eye coordination game as a team to improve our teamwork. Xternal is Asian and likes Starcraft 2. Greetz enjoys Audio Surf and Final Fantasy. I personally got 4th place in ESEA-intermediate last season, winning my first check from Torbull.
What do you think of the state of the DOD community as a whole?
hXc: I think things are going pretty well. I personally never thought ESL would take off, and if it ever did, I didn’t believe it would last longer than a season. I recently participated in the 1v1 Orange Tourney and I enjoyed that a lot. I wish we could arrange more night cups and such. Maybe even another draft. The amount of people that cheat in 12mans and scrims is ridiculous though.
Does D.R.U.G.S. have any shout outs?
Shout outs to the Stamper family, Stile, Poizoned, sevEN, Shmaltz, Eclipse, Ali, Slaya, Pubestache, Jesus, Narc/rwc for believing in us, and all our fan boys. Oh and Blairsm for the interview!
