Recently, Shut up and Party, Band-Aid, and 3h made some roster moves to solidify their lineups in their respective divisions. Suap picked up Alex “element” Thoresen while Band-Aid added Chris “mexicant” Rivas and Jordan “cableguy” Fenton.  In the Main division, 3h has added Joel “best K:D @ wsvg” Edmunds and Kevin “I will spell your last name wrong” Gardner. A little birdy has also told me Koalas picked up Gaul in attempt to get better! I talked to team leaders Airnick15 of Suap, nugz of Band-Aid, Mogers of 3h, and Kirk of Koalas to give the community an inside look at the new hopes for teams that we seem to glance over for possible contenders.

In our first release I talked with Airnick15 of Shut up and Party! about his new pick-up, “element.”

What made you decide to go with element?  Did you have other options and why was he the best option if there were other options?

Airnick15: We just recruited element to replace Austin, who left due to internet issues and because he was fearful of damaging his back upon returning, despite having less kills than Beast in our matches! We picked up element because he knows k4b00m and kills shit (especially through walls on Lennon apartments). We had a few other options, but he had the edge skill wise and having played with two of our other players previously, we saw it as a big advantage.

Have you played with or against him before?

Airnick15: I’ve played against him mainly in scrims/12mans, I mainly remember him repeatedly walling everything that moves in the Axis apartment entrance on lennon.

How do you think his addition to the team will affect team chemistry?

 Airnick15: His addition will help chemistry in that he has played with 2 other members, but unfortunately we don’t get to scrim as a team often because holy_skull works out of state during the week, and then comes home to burrow in his girlfriend’s vagina the entire weekend except for the match.

As well as Airnick, I sat down with element himself to gethis take on the new environment and what he hopes to bring to the table.

Why did you choose to join Suap?

Brandon “Beast” and Chris “k4b00m” are good friends of mine and people that I’ve been playing with for the past few years, they needed another player and since squares died it seemed like the right team to move to.

What weapon will you be using?

Right now I’m assuming a rifle, but I’m fine with playing any weapon

How do you think you will mesh with the current roster?

I’m hoping that we will be able to mesh very well, but nothing’s for sure until I start scrimming and play a couple matches with the team. I know that some previous history with k4b00m and Beast will definitely help with that.

What do you expect for the rest of the season and into playoffs?

I’m hoping that I’ll be able to do something to turn around what’s been a losing season so far. Since every team will probably make playoffs I hope that we’ll be a strong enough force to surprise some teams.
