I'd have a BMW if they weren't so damn expensive.

Yeah they're quite expensive but it's worth it if you ask me.

Definitely worth it. They are really only expensive if you buy one brand new, but if you buy one 3-4 years old you can get a great deal on it. The expensive part is all the aftermarket stuff you add to it.

It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning's winning.

How are the Saabs; you're the first person I've met that has owned one.

Well, this 9-3 isn't half the car my '83 900 turbo was. That was a very well built car.
This one is a glorified GM Opal underneath it all and lacks a certain degree of personality and gravitas that was the mark of pre-'94 saabs.
I miss the whistle of the turbo in the real saabs of yore.
Besides the ignition remaining in the console and the badges looking the part, it's the fit, finish, and feel of a fairly nice chevrolet.
After running a jeep for so long, I just wanted a car where I could put the top down, and yet not have it be so primitive.

First car was my fully built 05 gt. heads, cam, block work, cylinder work, built rear end, 70mm turbo
Made 640 @ 12 psi on 93 pump gas.
Second pic is the bike i ride during pretty much any day its not raining.
Sold the stang an wanted to do something different. Bought a Nissan 240 and built an ls1 from the bottom up, ls6 heads, ms3 cam, the works. Welded the diff, stripped the interior, car made 500hp at 2300lbs. It's a damn rocket. Car was featured on stanceworks.com randomly. #OMGDrift
