They're talking snow for my area. Last time I saw substantial snow on Halloween was almost 20 years ago.

Sure, but 100% of the power will not be restored for who knows how long. My uncle is in eastern Virginia, about 120 miles from the coast. He happens to be stocking up on some firewood to stay warm, as well as some extra food and water so he don't have to deal with idiots who didnt prepare.

This storm will likely wipe out everyone I know and love. Born in MD, college in eastern OH, law school in upstate NY. All dead. For those of you in the DC/MD/VA area this past summer, at least yall don't have to sleep in 105 degree heat when the power goes this time.

I live in CT, i really dont think it will be that bad considering they are predicting tops 75 moh winds going down to 49 shortly after landfall.

And to those of you who aren't used to hurricanes, this is a Category 1 hurricane. Those of us from the Caribbean and Florida scoff at that shit... silly northerners. Now if it gets a lot stronger over the next few days.. we'll just have to see, then you may be in some trouble lol.
