Nineteen Eleven

Nineteen Eleven is the original home of the competitive Day of Defeat community.

Launched in 2002, just before the release of Beta 3.1b, Nineteen Eleven quickly became the go to source for team news, match predictions, movies, and community discussion. Much of the success of both DoD 1.3 and DoD:Source is owed to the 1911 community and their push for competitive gameplay in the early days of DoD.

In 2004, the site was absorbed into GotFrag.

Nineteen Eleven was re-launched in 2011 and continues to serve the DoD 1.3 community today.

Previous versions of 1911 can be viewed on the internet archive.
